Slim design with dual color body

The smartphone has a slim profile made of high quality plastic at the back in dual color which looks elegant. The front side of the phone is made of glass which is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. There is a thin alloy ring on the edge which complements the looks. The power key and volume rocker keys are on right edge of the phone and three capacitive touch button on the bottom of display. As the phone has non removable back panel so it has a Hybrid-SIM (Micro SIM 1 + Nano SIM 2 or MicroSD) slot at the right edge, It would have been better if we could access the dual SIM plus MicroSD card at the same time.

Although it is a 5.5-inch device but it feels in hand as any 5-inch device. The Gorilla glass is prone to finger prints and smudges but the matte finish back panel is able to manage it.

Sharp display, fabulous UI and good features

The Vivo V1 Max has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display, with a resolution of Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels). It runs Android v5.0 (Lollipop) with FunTouch UI (user interface) as its operating system. The phone recognizes even the slightest touch without fail. The UI responded well while browsing through the home screen and main menu. Basic operations such as dialer, contacts and messaging should load instantaneously without any lag.

The smartphone houses a 1.4 GHz Octa-core Cortex A53 processor sitting on Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Chipset coupled with a RAM of 2 GB that works together to deliver a powerful and lag free performance. The device comes with an internal memory of 16GB which can be expanded up to a whopping 128GB which is as good as a storage device. The performance test we did on Vivo phone are:

1) Basic functionality of calling is simple and the voice is clear even on noisy outdoor areas. There is no heating issue on long calls.

2) We played heavy games like Asphalt 8 and Dead trigger 2 to test the processor and GPU and the performance throughout the gaming is good.

Now a days front camera comes with a selfie mode which refines your skin and makes it attractive but the 5 MP front camera of the Vivo is decent and the features are cool enough to enhance the image.

It has a 2,720 mAh Li-ion battery ,which is not huge capacity wise, but surprisingly gives a good battery life.
