Revised Launch Date Rumours Emerge for Samsung Galaxy S24 Series: Expected to Arrive Sooner Than Anticipated

by November 6, 2023 0 comments

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is scheduled to be released soon. It is expected to succeed the Galaxy S23 series, which debuted in February of this year. Soon after the release of the previous smartphones, speculations and rumours about Samsung’s forthcoming flagship series began. The following smartphone lineup, like previous ones, is expected to have three models: the standard Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. There have been numerous leaks and publications revealing critical details about the alleged models. According to a recent source, the lineup may be released sooner than planned.

Samsung Galaxy S24 series: Release Date

The Galaxy S24 series will be unveiled on 17 January at an event in San Francisco, California. This backs with prior predictions that the series would premiere between early and mid-January.

Samsung Galaxy S24 series: To Launch earlier than Usual

According to the report, Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy S24 earlier than usual because it sees the flagship series as its “saviour” product (translated from Korean) after experiencing lower-than-expected performance in its semiconductor business, as well as sales of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, which were announced at a Galaxy Unpacked event held in Seoul on 26 July.

It is claimed that the move was prompted by the desire to keep up with its competitor, Apple, which recently revealed its iPhone 15 series. Notably, the Galaxy S23 series was released this year on 17 February, while the Galaxy S22 flagship models were released the year before on 10 February 2022. With the launch of the Galaxy S24 series, the business may seek to provide a more competitive race to its market rivals.

Samsung Galaxy S24 series: Price

According to the source, the Galaxy S23 FE model would be available in South Korea on 1 December for KRW 800,000 (approximately Rs.). This would also attempt to ease the effects of poor sales of the Galaxy S23 series phones, which were assumed to result from the country’s general economic downturn. The mid-range Fan Edition model is expected to boost sales, according to the manufacturer.
