New Update

The Ricoh SP 202 SN bundles an array of useful features to keep your office or home productive. It can print, copy, and scan, and includes the extra convenience of scanning to a USB, email or a PC folder. Plus, it even includes a built-in 15 sheets ADF for speeding up work. However, it lacks direct USB printing. You will not require that much space to set up SP 202 SN as it is compact and lightweight, weighing just 8.9 kg.

Performance - Setting up the printer is a breeze with either USB or Ethernet. Its printer function has a warm up time of 25 seconds before it starts printing. In our tests, it printed first page in 14 seconds and gave a print speed of 20 ppm for multiple page print-outs, with acceptable print quality. During copying it copied first page in 15 seconds and gave a copy speed of 18 cpm for multiple pages (single side). The maximum of 99 copies can be made with 25-400 per cent enlargement ratio. The scanner took 15 seconds to scan a B/W page with 600*600 dpi resolution restricted to .jpg, .bmp, .tiff, .png file formats and 44 seconds to scan a Color A4 Page. You can scan direct to USB, PC folder or scan to email. This feature however, only works with your own SMTP server, but not with free public servers like gmail.com. The copy feature in printer also includes combining up to 4 pages on a single sheet, thereby reducing paper wastage. Unfortunately, there is no direct USB print feature which is now fairly common in MFPs. The MFP has an in-built ID copy button, which let's you combine the front and back side copying of an ID card without having to manually feed the paper, which is normally the case. It's an interesting and time saving feature to have.
