Ring of Elysium New Update Will Allow Players to Vote on Maps Now

Ring of Elysium is a game that needs no introduction to some players. For those who don't know about Ring of Elysium, it was a game made by Aurora Studios and Tencent Games for players who wanted to play PUBG PC but not by paying for it. It was essentially a free to play battle royale game for PC and is available on Steam for download. Since its release on Sep 19, 2018, the game has had been through a lot of troubles. Dropping player numbers seems to the biggest issue facing the game as of now.

To help with that, the devs of Ring of Elysium have decided to give the players something that was much needed. A new update is coming to the game that will let players choose the map they want to play on. On December 10th the update will roll out on Steam and once players update the game, players will be able to play on the maps they have voted on.

The devs of the game have decided to give players the power to decide which maps they want to play on in Ring of Elysium. This will allow the players to play on either Dione, Europa, or Vera. Players will be able to vote for their favorite map right from the lobby. To vote players will need to buy coins and then they'll be able to vote.

However, you don't have to purchase the coins using real money. ROE tweeted a clarification stating that players will not have to buy coins to vote. This is a step in the right direction. Players of the game have often complained of the path the devs have taken with updates and changes. Some of the updates Ring of Elysium received left many players disappointed but hopefully, with this new update the game will gain some traction again.

Just to clarify, coins are the free in-game currency you earn from playing matches. You will never need to purchase coins will real life money.
