In this race of having the best processor, companies have been adding powerful chipsets from time to time with every release of their smartphones to beat others in this market segment. With the Snapdragon Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset by Qualcomm being the newest and fastest; arrived in July with flagship phones, Antutu release the list of best performance smartphones.

It won't be surprising as the new flagship chipset has to come up at the top among the previous versions of it. According to the Antutu list, ROG Phone 6 Pro with 18 GB RAM and 512 GB storage scored over 1.1 million points, followed by another Asus Zenfone 9. The Red Magic 7 by nubia completed the rostrum and become the top among those with the previous version of 8 gen Chipset after 8+ gen 1 processor.

Antutu added a new ranking this time around for sub-flagships. Two Dimensity 8100-powered phones are on top. In the mid-range segment, we only see three different chipsets represented in the top 10, and two of them are very closely related - the Snapdragon 778G and 780G.

The score for each phone is calculated as an average of all results for devices that have at least 1,000 runs of the benchmarks. The memory combo, written next to the model name, is the highest available on the market and is not necessarily responsible for all runs, according to GSMArena.

Further, classifications in August in the flagship field are expected to be different as more Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 phones reach the minimum number of runs to qualify, including the Xiaomi 12S Ultra and the Red Magic 7S.
