The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G first appeared in India in March of this year, featuring 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage. As a follow-up to the Galaxy A54 5G, Samsung is working on the Galaxy A55. Key features of the rumoured smartphone have been published online before any formal launch. The Galaxy A55 is rumoured to be powered by an Exynos 1480 SoC from the South Korean smartphone manufacturer. It is expected to have a 50-megapixel primary back camera. The Galaxy A55 5G has allegedly begun internal testing.

Galaxy A55: Samsung is testing the Galaxy A55 with the CPU

According to GalaxyClub, Samsung is testing the Galaxy A55 with the CPU codenamed S5E8845. This codename is linked to the yet-to-be-announced Exynos 1480 chip. The Exynos 1280 SoC from Samsung is model number S5E8825, whereas the Exynos 1380 SoC is designated S5E8835. The former powers the Galaxy A53 5G, whereas the Exynos 1380 SoC powers the Galaxy A54 5G. The next Exynos 1480 CPU is known internally as Rose and may include an AMD-derived GPU.

The Samsung Galaxy A55 is expected to have a 50-megapixel back camera sensor. It is likely to become official in March of the following year. However, Samsung has yet to confirm information concerning the Galaxy A55. As a result, it is fair to take these details with a grain of salt.

The Galaxy A54 5G is now available in India, with the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model beginning at Rs. 38,999. It is available in the colours Awesome Lime, Awesome Graphite, Awesome Violet, and Awesome White.

Samsung Galaxy A55: Expected Features

The rumoured Galaxy A55 5G is likely an improvement over the Galaxy A54 5G. The latter has a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Galaxy A54 5G's optics include a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 12-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, and a 5-megapixel macro shooter. It consists of a 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor on the front. The handset is built to IP67 standards. It has up to 256GB of internal storage that can be expanded with a microSD card up to 1TB. The handset includes a 5,000mAh battery from Samsung.
