Anyone can scan the Galaxy SmartTag 2 to receive the owner's information when they find a misplaced tag, item, or pet. According to Samsung, any mobile device with a web browser and an NFC scanner can utilise this service.
With the SmartTag 2, the business upgraded the Compass View feature, assuring a more straightforward direction tracker. The feature is available on every Galaxy smartphone that supports UWB. The battery life of the Galaxy SmartTag 2 is claimed to be up to 700 days in power-saving mode and 500 days in ordinary mode. This variant has twice the battery life of previous Galaxy SmartTag models. It is dust and splash-resistant, with an IP67 rating.
