Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 tablets now in India at Rs 17,745

Samsung India has launched its latest Galaxy Tab 3 tablet range in the country with price starting from Rs 17,745 and going up to Rs 25,000. The tablets come in two size variants; 7-inch and 8-inch and available in Wi-Fi only and 3G models. The Tab 3 range was first showcased at the Mobile World Congress this year back in February.

The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 sports a 17.7-cm (7-inch) display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels and runs Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean version. This slate is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, coupled with 1 GB RAM.

The tablet gets 8 GB internal memory expandable up to 64 GB via microSD card slot. The tablet comes fitted with a 3 MP rear and 1.3 MP front-facing cameras. Samsung has loaded the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 with a 4,000 mAh battery.

The Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 comes with an 8-inch display and is also based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean version with Samsung's Touch Wiz UI. Under the hood, Galaxy Tab 3 8 packs a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and 1.5 GB RAM. The tablet comes fitted with a 5 MP rear and 1.3 MP front cameras and this one offers 16 GB internal memory, expandable up to 64 GB.

The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is priced at Rs 17,745, the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 Wi-Fi only will be available for Rs 21,945 and the 3G SIM model is priced at Rs 25,725.
