Samsung introduces Galaxy Tab 4 range of 7, 8 and 10.1 inch Tablets

Continuing with its yearly tradition of refreshing its product line-up, Samsung has announced its Galaxy Tab 4 tablet range for this year that comes in varied 7, 8 and 10.1 inch form factor. The tablets were expected to be launched alongside Galaxy S5 at the MWC this year but the company decided against it and let its flagship device to hog the limelight. But now the tablets are officially out and can be expected to make their appearance in respective markets in the coming months. Compared to the Galaxy Tab 3, the Tab 4 range comes in a streamlined and lighter form factor which makes it sleek and easy to hold. Let's take a closer look at the new Galaxy Tab 4 range;

Starting up with the 7 inch model, this one sports a 1280 x 800 pixels display powered by the latest Android 4.4 KitKat version. For the first time, the tablet packs a quad-core processor that gets clubbed with 1.5 GB RAM. It is fitted with 3 MP rear and 1.3 MP front cameras. Available in 8/16 GB expandable variant, the tablet weighing at 276 gram comes in LTE and Wi-Fi-only variants.

Next up is the 8-inch Galaxy tablet that also features 1280 x 800 pixels display and weighs 320 grams. Also packed with quad-core processor and 1.5 GB RAM, this one comes with same 3 MP rear and 1.3 MP front cameras. One can store up to 16 GB onboard, expandable up to 64GB. It is loaded with a 4450 mAh battery and also comes in Wi-Fi/3G and LTE option.

The final product in the range is the 10.1 tablet which sadly also comes with a 1280 x 800 pixels display. Same hardware and cameras are present on the 10.1 likes the ones features on 7 and 8 inch model. The only differences come in the form of bigger 6,800mAh battery that jacks up the weight of the tablet to 487 grams.

Samsung has not divulged on the pricing or availability of the Galaxy Tab 4 range as of now which will become clearer in the coming months.
