Samsung is in partnership with Activision Blizzard to boost gaming

In the EMEA area, Samsung Electronics and Activision Blizzard, the company behind Call of Duty, have partnered on a marketing campaign named "Embrace Your Game." The well-known titles from Activision Blizzard will be utilized by the South Korean tech firm to advertise its line of gaming devices. This includes cell phones as well as TVs and monitors. In 44 countries, the partnership is expected to spearhead a multi-channel, multi-product marketing effort.

What is the Samsung Player Training Program? 

With the Embrace Your Game campaign, the company also launched the Samsung Gamer Training program. This program helps all types of players to improve their skills. Samsung has also revamped the gaming website, which also includes tips in various formats. For example, tips from professional gamers and content creators, video workshops and tutorials, product recommendations, interactive training, and more. 

How will this move by Samsung benefit Samsung users?

Samsung will promote the campaign across all European digital channels to promote Activision Blizzard games. These include Crash Team Rumble, Overwatch 2, Diablo Immortal and World of Warcraft, among others. These games are advertised on TVs, gaming monitors, and Galaxy phones.

Samsung's European Marketing Director said: “The world of gaming is evolving. We at Samsung want to support all gamers, from casual to professional. <…> Embrace Your Game offers gamers of all types the ability to fully immerse themselves in their video games at home or anywhere. 

The CEO of Activision Blizzard, Bobby Kotick, is leaving the company at the end of December. In 1991, Kotick became the CEO of Activision after buying a stake in the company and leaving the company after 32 years. Kotick also sent a letter to his staff to make the decision official. 

In October, Microsoft bought the game publisher known for popular games like Call of Duty, Diablo and World of Warcraft in a $70 billion deal.
