Major software updates for two new phones and one tablet running Android 13 and One UI5 have been issued by South Korean tech giant Samsung.

The smartphone market leader is rolling out the latest Android update to various devices, including the Galaxy A71 4G, Galaxy F62, and even the Galaxy Tab S7 series. Owners of the three devices may thus expect to shortly receive the Android 13 OS upgrade for their smartphones and tablets.

Is the new update available in other countries too?

Poland and a few other European countries and areas can use the One UI 5.0 upgrade, which is Samsung's android skin.

Will the upgrade come with a security patch?

The Galaxy F62 will receive the E625FDDU2CVK2 firmware upgrade, while the Galaxy A71's new build number is A715FXXU8DVK1.

The Galaxy F62 model, specific to India, will receive the November 2022 security patch, while the Galaxy A71 model will also receive the October 2022 security patch with this update. On the other hand, the Tab S7 series will get the One UI 5.0 upgrade with an XXU2DVK3 firmware version.

Samsung One UI 5.0 Top Features

One UI 5.0, based on Android 13, comes with a host of new features, including updates to the home screen's notification style, new themes and colour options, multitasking advancements, widget options, lock screen tweak options, a brand-new wallpaper page, and camera improvements.

Notifications

A new notification style will be included in the forthcoming One UI 5.0. The corporation might unveil new icons. In addition, compared to One UI 4.1's previous version, the notification sharing and quick settings now have a little modified appearance by increasing the opacity.

Stackable Widgets

Stackable widgets are a new feature introduced with the OneUI 5.0 upgrade. Users will be able to stack many widgets on the home screen. Hold down on the widget, choose the ones you wish to add, and then press "Add widget."

Notes

Users can take notes while on a call thanks to a new function that Samsung has incorporated. The capability appears to be restricted to S Pen devices alone, though.
