Smartwatch Company Pebble is likely launch a compact Android Phone

Pebble, a brand of gadgets and smartwatches, has revealed that its founders plan to enter the smartphone market with a specific focus. The creators of Pebble hope to create a little Android phone that might replace the obsolete iPhone 13 Mini.

A group dedicated to the development of the phone was founded by Eric Migicovsky. Around 38,000 people allegedly signed a petition for the product, according to Eric's staff.

To be fair, he doesn't have a business, but Eric and co. have been planning the phone behind the scenes and claim to have tried to get the display, chip, and even the phone's design.

It's exciting to hear Eric's recruit other former Pebble employees discuss their plans and how they intend to fund the phone's production in the near future.

The team already includes an industrial design head, a project manager, and even a data scientist, although we are unsure how the latter will assist with the smartphone's development. As a result, the compact phone may have a place now that the iPhone 13 Mini has been discontinued.

After Fitbit purchased Pebble in 2016, the company had to close its doors. Judging by the speed at which they are developing plans for the phone, it appears that they may be onto something.

In addition, the team has already discussed layouts for the phone's camera module and ways to improve the design language to give the phone a fresh look while still remaining recognizable and distinctive. The team wants to deliver a unit that can take good pictures, so don't expect them to join the megapixel war regarding the camera specs.
