Across the categories Symantec succeeds to make a mark in the top spot followed by McAfee and Check-Point in SME category. In large enterprise category, Kaspersky outwits McAfee to book second spot. Plus, Check-Point moves down to fourth position from its third slot in SME category. The other prominent brands that made it to the elite club include Quick Heal, Microsoft and TrendMicro. In total, there are as many as seven brands fighting it out for the top spot. The only brand that failed to come up and become a member of elite club is ESET.

Symantec, Kaspersky and McAfee enjoy the highest top of mind recall along with current brand ownership across the categories.

In terms of brand loyalty, Symantec has a loyal user base of 75%, and out of the remaining, 10% want to move out to McAfee and 20% have no plan. In large enterprise, Symantec's loyalty stands at 88%. Check-Point appears to have loyal user base of 100% in SME category and 82 % in large enterprise. Symantec also has a good loyal base of 75% in SME category and 88% in large enterprise category; 5% wants to shift out to McAfee and 8% have no plan.

McAfee has a loyalty base of 47% in SME category, out of the remaining, 10% would like to move out to Quick Heal, 10% to Check-Point. In large category, McAfee has a loyal user base of 74%; out of the remaining, 3% plan to move to kaspersky 3% to Check-Point. Moving to Kaspersky, the brand has a loyal base of 69%, and out of the remaining, 19% are not sure about the brand to move out to, 3% plan for Check-Point and 3% plan to move to ESET. In large enterprise category, Kaspersky's loyal base is better which is 94%.

Most of the users of the brand voted for product reliability as the reason for owning the current brand and for future purchase also.
