SAP again with its mySAP solution emerges as the leader in this segment.
There are six brands that made it to the Users' Choice Club this time. Out of
the six brands, three belonged to Oracle —E-Business suite, JD Edwards
Enterprise One and PeopleSoft. The other two brands that made it to club this
year are Ramco Systems' Enterprise Series and ADP.
MySAP enjoyed the highest current brand ownership, top of mind recall, brand
loyalty relative to other HRM brands, but it is Oracle — E-Business suite that
has the highest shift-ins from other brands. When we look at the brand presence
across the eight industry verticals that we covered this time, there isn't a
particular brand that has a dominant presence across all the industry verticals.
SAP mySAP has the strongest brand presence of all brands in discrete
manufacturing, process manufacturing, IT/ITeS, Healthcare and services sectors.
Whereas, Oracle-PeopleSoft enjoys strongest brand presence in BFSI sector while
in communication media industry, it is Oracle- JD Edwards that has the highest
brand presence. Though, in other industry sectors the brand presence of these
two Oracle products appeared to be low.

When asked for reasons to opt for the top three brands, product reliability
came up as dominant of all four reasons. This covered 91% of Oracle E-Business
Suite potential buyers, 88% for PeopleSoft, and 71% of mySAP. 58% of users
likely to go with mySAP gave brand name as the reason for doing so, followed by
38% of Oracle PeopleSoft, and 21% of E-Business Suite. After support and service
aren't major issues in this segment. mySAP has the highest brand loyalty amongst
its existing owners, with 56% of them likely to continue using it in the near
future. ADP followed with 50% brand loyalty, but 17% of them are likely to shift
to SAP mySAP in near future, which is good news for SAP.
