Sony brings Flip hybrid 13,14 and 15 inch Ultrabooks starting at Rs 94,900

Sony has unveiled its Flip range of hybrid ultrabooks for consumers in India priced at Rs 94,900 onwards.The Flip hybrid range was first showcased at this year's CES earlier this month and is targeted at on-the-go users with its slim form factor and lightweight nature.

The hybrid comes in three form factor options; 13 inch, 14 inch, 15 inch and in total there are four models which will be available to users in the country. The Flip range comes with full HD 1920x1080 pixels display which is refreshing change from the traditional 1366x768 pixels HD display. The hybrids are powered by Windows 8 operating system, based on Intel Core i5 CPU along with 4/8 GB expandable RAM. In terms of storage the 13 inch model comes with 128 GB SSD while the 14 and 15 inch is fitted with a higher capacity storage of up to 1 TB. 

The 13 inch model with its mobility factor weighs 1.3 Kg, longer battery life and in addition to all this, Sony has added USB charger point on the AC adaptor for dual-charging purpose.

For users buying Sony Flip hybrid devices, the company has bundled a Sony headphone worth Rs 12,990, 3 months unlimited songs download from Jive and an extra 2 years warranty at Rs 999.

Sony Flip 13, 14 and 15 hybrids have been priced at Rs 99,990, Rs 94,990 and Rs 1,04,990 respectively and will be available on shelves from 29th January.
