The new NW-ZX707 Walkman was made for audiophiles and people who like to listen to hi-fi music. The new Walkman is housed in a stylish design and has high-end components that promise to deliver high-quality sound in the way that artists intended.

The Walkman NW-ZX707's DSD Remastering Engine converts PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) audio into 11.2 MHz DSD (Direct Stream Digital) audio. The Walman S-MasterX digital amplifier, which works with the native DSD format, produces rich, full sound while reducing distortion and noise.

The NW-ZX707 has a 5-inch display, Wi-Fi connectivity, and Android 12 pre-installed. You can download or stream music from any music streaming app you want.

For hi-fi sound, the Walkman has two clocks, a film capacitor, and a fine sound register precisely placed inside the unit. The NW-ZX707 Walkman incorporates the fine-tuned FTCAP3 high polymer capacitor and large solid high polymer capacitor, both of which have high capacitance and low resistance, from the most recent Signature series Walkman.

For balanced output, the Walkman also has a large 8mm coil, which improves sound resolution. It can also make audio in the same quality as a CD, which is 16-bit, 44.1/48 kHz, and lossless codec audio.

Sony claims that 4.1 kHz FLAC playing can give you up to 25 hours of battery life, and 96 KHz playback will give you roughly 23 hours. In terms of charging, a full charge takes about 3.5 hours.

Walkman, Sony NW-ZX707: Price and availability in India

At Rs 69,990, Sony's new Walkman is as expensive as a high-end smartphone. On January 30, the Walkman NW-ZX707 will be available for purchase.
