Spice brings first AndroidLand store to India

S Mobility, part of Spice group has unveiled first ever all Android store which hosts plethora of Android products which includes brands like Micromax, Samsung, LG and Sony among others. Earlier this year reports indicated that Google has chosen S Mobility to be its instigator for Android stores in India and aided by Spice's extensive retailing reach Google hopes to reach out to Indian consumers with Android products; smartphone and tablet from varied vendors.

The first ever Android store called AndroidNation was opened in Indonesia. And now, with Spice AndroidLand store has been opened up in Noida and Bengaluru spread across 900 sqft and 2300 sqft respectively. Asked about the specialty of the store, Dilip Modi, co-founder and group CEO, Spice Global said, "With AndroidLand consumers will be given a user experience with hands-on guidance from our store staff who are well equipped to cater to needs of consumers as per their functionality and usage". 

The other catchments of AndroidLand are: A wide variety of live Android smartphones and tablets that customers can play with along with a selection of accessories. Users are offered free Wi-Fi service in-store for visitors to use on live handsets.

Another exciting aspect about the store is Google Play Zone. This is an exclusive area which showcases the most popular apps and games from Google Play. Users can search, choose and even download apps from the Play Store on the spot.

Also available at the AndroidLand are Google's Nexus devices and the store will also feature the Google Edition HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone variant as well.
