Spice Expands Stellar Range with India's Slimmest Smartphone and Fully-HD Tablet

S Mobility, a Mobile Internet company unveiled the latest additions to its innovative Stellar range - the dual-sim android Ice-Cream sandwich-based Stellar Virtuoso, the slimmest smartphone to be launched by any Indian brand, and Stellar Pad, a tablet with the most powerful battery in the industry. The Stellar range is the best in class innovation by Spice in the smartphones and tablet  category.

With this launch the company aims to strengthen its foothold in the Smartphone market in India. Spice currently holds five percent of the handset market share. Modi added: “We believe the potential demand of fully-loaded 3G smartphones at an aggressive price point will now fuel the aspirations of the evolved customers. Since demand of data services 'on-the-go' is rising faster than ever, we see an opportunity to stamp our dominance in this segment.”

Spice has made significant investments in the R&D of these products. Stellar Virtuoso Mi-495, the slimmest smartphone by any Indian brand with a 9.44mm thin body comes packed with a 1.0 GHz Dual Core processor and 11.43 cm qHD screen. This Android 4.0 smartphone offers an 8.0 mega-pixel auto focus camera with flash and a front-facing 1.3 MP camera. This innovative smartphone also offers video-calling facility and an expandable memory upto 32 GB. The 1700 mAh battery supports 6 hours talk-time and a battery back-up of 200 hours. The Virtuoso comes along with a free leather cover and a screen guard, worth Rs. 1,000.

The Spice Stellar Pad Mi-1010 comes with a 25.65 cm screen and Jelly Bean 4.1 OS. Armed with a 1.5 GHz dual core processor with Quadcore GPU, the Stellar Pad doubles up as the first fully HD tablet with IPS display (wide angle viewing) by any Indian brand. It also scores a first in the industry by bringing in the strongest battery till date, a 7600 mAh Lithium ion polymer battery that offers a video playing time of 6 hours and a standby of 15 days and is packed with an amazing 16 GB internal memory, which is the best in the segment. The Pad comes with a leather cover worth Rs 2,000 and a USB 'on-the-go' cable, absolutely free.
