This TCL 560 device boasts many features and nowadays is available in a much cheaper price than the original INR 7,999 price tag. Some users informed us that the sound is not good, especially with earphones and it is 100 percent true. I have used the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 SoC on another Chinese made mobile device and the sound was just awesome, although the phone was cheap to buy. I am just shocked by the ultra low volume levels via 3.5 mm headphone/earphone jack. I mean even with 100 percent volume, you can barely listen to a song at public places. I have tried on with Sennheiser CX275s, CX175 and also with Creative EP 630 earphones, all of them being one of the best sellers across many online portals. I am just shocked with the meager volume of a device whose screen size is claimed at 5.5 inched HD with 267 ppi density, in reality though I found the actual screen to be 5.45 inches with a 269 ppi density, The sound doesn’t match with the size of the phone and is the biggest let down for any music lover or people who watches movies while traveling. Some users are saying it is likely due to poor quality 3.5 mm socket, I guess another reason could be that TCL tweaked settings to restrict sound via earphones to accommodate more back up from the 2500 mAh non-removable battery. TCL should release a firmware or a software update patch to enhance the sound, else there is no point in purchasing this phone. Other features claimed are good for a regular average user like 2GB RAM,16GB ROM,VoLTE etc. Build quality is not great but good enough and it doesn’t look cheap. Front camera with flash works fine, although none of the cameras are that good and cannot be expected from a budget mobile having CMOS sensor. Overall a good package, except sound, which needs a fix by TCL only as no playstore sound enhancement app helped raise the volume level or the bass/treble ratio. I purchased from, unfortunately they don’t allow returns if you are not satisfied with the product, so decide accordingly.
