Hong Kong based TRANSSION Holdings' subsidiary TECNO Mobile is eyeing to capture a bigger share in the Indian smartphone market. Today, TECNO announces a new smartphone Camon 12 Air.
Tecno has created a balanced smartphone equipped with Helio P22, Octa-Core processor and triple camera at the back to capture amazing snaps and videos.
The front has a 6.55” HD+ dot-in display (1600*720p) with 90.3% screen to body ratio. The screen produces 500 nit Brightness meaning you can enjoy videos and games even in direct sunlight.
It has an 8MP AI front selfies shooter with 81° view angle, enabling you to capture groufies.
As like Phantom, Tecno Camon 12 Air has glossy back in dual tone color finish. It looks quite solid and stylish.
The fingerprint sensor is located beside the 16MP+2MP+5MP AI triple camera with quad flash. The primary camera can capture a 120° wide-angle and 2.5cm Extreme Close-up Shot.
It comes with features including bokeh mode, AI HDR, AI beauty, panorama, wide-angle, macro mode and google lens.
Camon 12 Air is equipped with Helio P22, Octa-Core - 2.0 GHz processor, backed by 4 GB RAM and PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The combination doesn’t look very impressive, but considering the price, it is one of the promising configurations.
The phone runs on HiOS 5.5 based on Android 9.0. It comes with various features and functionalities which are useful, but at the same time has various bloatware.
The phone will be available in two colors Bay Blue and Stellar Purple. It supports 3 slots (2SIM + 1SD card slot) and both SIM slots support Volte.
Camon 12 Air is priced at INR 9999.
