Tecno Pop 8 will be available in India on 3 January

Tecno stated in a press release that the Tecno Pop 8 will be available in India on 3 January. The Tecno Pop 8 phone will also be sold in India through Amazon. The Tecno Pop 8 handset now has its microsite on the e-commerce site. Tecno claims the entry-level smartphone has an AnTuTu score of 240K and is the quickest 8GB device in the market.

Tecno Pop 8: Specifications

The company confirmed that the 8GB RAM on the Tecno Pop 8 Indian variant includes 4GB of actual RAM and 4GB of virtual RAM. The Tecno Pop 8 phone will have 64GB of internal storage. It will also have a 90Hz Dot-In display with a Dynamic Port comparable to Apple's Dynamic Port and display notifications and other alerts. The Tecno Pop 8 phone will be available in Gravity Black and Mystery White in India.

The Tecno Pop 8 has an Android T-Go with a 6.6-inch HD+ (720 x 1,612 pixel) LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. An octa-core Unisoc T606 chipset powers the Tecno Pop 8 and can support up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The Tecno Pop 8 features a 13-megapixel dual rear camera set with an LED flash. In the front, there's an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. The Tecno Pop 8 phone comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 10W cable charging capabilities, which provides over 900 hours of standby life on a single charge.
