Temple Run now on all Windows Phone 8 smartphones

All the Windows Phone 8 or Nokia Lumia users will be pleased to know that the popular game, Temple Run is now compatible with their devices, Lumia 520, Lumia 620 and Lumia 720.

The game created by Imangi Studios has been a popular amongst wide user base of Android and iOS and now Windows Phone users will get the same game on their devices also.  The likes of Twitter, Facebook, YouTube (with Google), Viber, WhatsApp, and WeChat are already here and we expect more developers to follow the pattern and create their WP 8 apps.

Till date, Temple Run sized at around 27 MB was only compatible with Lumia 820 and Lumia 920 smartphones, that come with a 1 GB RAM but now the company has reduced the size of the game to 21 MB, which means that all other Lumia smartphones that run on 512 MB RAM are now capable of supporting the game on the play store and device.

The decision from Imangi Studios is a smart move as this allows the company to make use of growing user base of smartphones like Lumia 520, Lumia 620 and Lumia 720 which are available in budget and mid-level segment. This surely is a huge news for Windows Phone users.
