PUBG PC Lite is the lighter version of the popular PC game PUBG PC. The game is targetted towards budget gamers who can run the game even on systems that do not have a very high configuration. The game is not very heavy and takes only 4 GB of download to start playing. The game became very popular after its launch and one of the major reason behind this popularity was the fact it was free. PUBG PC game is a paid game and players need to buy it in order to play it. The Lite version of the game was the opposite and anyone with a decent system could play the game. However, on April 29, 2021, PUBG Corporation announced the termination of the game completely. Players will not be able to play this game any more and the game would completely be terminated by May 29, 2021. The reasons highlighted by the company behind the move was that the player base had become stagnant and not a lot of players were a part of the community. What does this mean for budget gamers?

Firstly, people who were enthusiastic about the game will now have to purchase the PC version of the game which is heavier and paid. This might make these players completely cut off from the game and the community. The company decided to remove the L-Coins from the game which made it a completely free game that did not require any purchases included in-game purchases. The skins and attires could be attained with the help of the in-game currency which was not very hard to acquire.

Secondly, the players will no more have any scope of eSports representation The game did not see any major tournament anyway but the presence of multiple custom matches and tournaments is also gone. This can leave the players in a very clueless state looking for other games to set their mind to.

Thirdly, with the termination of the game, one of the rare free-to-play games on the internet has now vanished and the gaming will now again be a paid affair. For players who are beginners or played the game just for recreation, it is bad news. The services and support of the game will be completely closed by May 29, 2021 and the game will see the end of the day.

There is no concrete news on the unban of PUBG Mobile India, therefore, the players who enjoyed playing a free to download PUBG game will now have to wait for any further announcements by the company.
