The Printer Results

Epson tops the charts; Canon lags due to price

We came to some interesting conclusions after this shootout. Compared

to the rest:

• HP DeskJet 710 gave the best results on plain paper, using the
  
  still-life photo (of fruits).
• Epson Photo 700 gave the best results on photo paper (still-life
  
  photo).
• Canon BJC7100 gave the best results on inkjet paper (still-life
  
  photo).
• HP DeskJet 880C gave the best skin-tone results on photo paper
  
  (photo of model).

In all cases, paper supplied by the printer manufacturer gave better

results than third-party paper.
