A new Samsung Galaxy A series smartphone might be arriving in India shortly. The South Korean conglomerate has submitted the latest Galaxy A34 for certification to the US FCC and the Indian BIS. The soon-to-be-released Samsung Galaxy A34 smartphone was recently spotted at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), where it was collecting one more critical certification for its debut.

Specifications and characteristics of the rumoured Samsung Galaxy A34:

  • According to a GizmoChina rumour, the smartphone would be powered by an Exynos 1280 chipset for areas such as India.
  • It will also have a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with a teardrop notch and a smoother refresh rate of 90 Hz.
  • The Samsung Galaxy A34 is said to have a minimalist design with no camera bumps.
  • It is rumoured to include a 48MP primary camera on the rear and two secondary lenses, most likely a telephoto and a wide-angle.
  • The Samsung Galaxy A34 is said to contain a 13MP selfie camera.
  • The smartphone is anticipated to include a 5,000mAh battery with 25-watt fast charging capabilities.
  • Because no wall charger is expected in the retail package, you'll need to buy a fast-charging brick separately.
  • The gadget is also believed to include an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Meanwhile, Samsung is preparing for its highly anticipated Unpacked event on 1 February for its flagship Galaxy S23 series of smartphones. Reservations for the flagship phones are already available on Samsung's official website. The Samsung Galaxy A34 is projected to be a mid-range smartphone with a price tag of approximately Rs 25,000 when it is released in the first quarter of 2023.
