Vivo is pushing the V27 Pro here, although we expect the ordinary V27 to come close in pure hardware. Furthermore, the V27 series will likely be a rebadged Vivo S16 series from China.

All about the Vivo V27 series

There are a few things to remember concerning the Vivo V27 series.

  • The Vivo V27 series phone(s) in the lineup will appear to have a color-changing back panel and be incredibly sleek and premium-looking.
  • The Vivo V27 series has teased two colours: magic blue and noble black.
  •  While the former is believed to be 7.4mm thick, the latter will be even thinner at 7.36mm.
  • On the rear, there will be three cameras, the most important of which will be a 50MP Sony IMX766V sensor.
  • For those unaware, the IMX766V is a customised version of the IMX766, a sensor previously seen in phones ranging from OnePlus to Realme.
  • A ring-light LED that Vivo calls "aura" light is next to the vertically stacked triple camera assembly.
  • According to the manufacturer, the sensor, LED, and portrait mode triad produce high-quality night portraits.
  • The Vivo V27 series phone(s) will sport a 120Hz 3D curved display with a hole punch cutout in the centre on the front.
  • Vivo claims the Vivo V27 series phone(s) would have a 60-degree curve for greater immersion and a superior ergonomic grasp.

The rest of the hardware specifications are unknown at the time of writing. Still, if the V27 series is loosely based on the S16 series, we can expect a 6.78-inch 1080p curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a Dimensity 8200 chip (Snapdragon 870 in the V27), Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13, and a 4,600mAh battery with 66W fast charging. More information will be provided when it becomes available.
