How to use Google Assistant to make your home smart

Google’s artificial intelligence-powered voice assistant aka Google Assistant is now supported by a wide number of devices including smartphones, smart speakers and other devices. With the rise of AI-powered speakers, the Google Assistant has acquired a much-loved space in our homes too, and with a good reason as it can help you turn on lights, read the news to you, among others.

The things you can do with your Google Assistant are varied. You can ask him questions about our historical culture, monuments, and other general knowledge questions. It can also check your emails and appointments.

But, one of the most loved features of the Google Assistant its ability to control your smart home, smart thermostat, and can even monitor and control the outdoor security camera in your home. Here is how to do it.

Make sure you have a decent smartphone or tablet that can allow you to set up your smart home devices to work with Google Assistant.
