Valorant is the new FPS game that has taken the world by storm. The FPS title has captured the imagination of players like CS: GO did during its era. Since the launch of Valorant players has been treated to 3 different game modes. None of those modes were what we call deathmatch. Deathmatch mode first came about in Counterstrike. A simple game mode where two teams or squads play against each other on a map and whichever team can get the required number of kills first will win. Valorant dev team has been teasing us with the team deathmatch mode for a long time. Players have been clamoring for it and it seems that we are finally getting it.
New leaks have confirmed that there is a new game mode on its way in Valorant. New leaks have confirmed that deathmatch is coming to Valorant in the Haven, Split, and Bind maps. In the image, you can see that deathmatch is coming. Players will be able to play in the three maps of Valorant. Since the mode has not come in the game it is hard to say how the deathmatch mode in Valorant will pan out. Over the years many games have done their iteration of team deathmatch. Call of Duty titles has had team deathmatch in some form or another. PUBG and PUBG Mobile have also introduced deathmatch mode on their games. Now Valorant is following suit. Hopefully, the deathmatch mode in Valorant will be similar to the counterstrike mode.
When will Deathmatch mode come to Valorant?
There is no announcement being made by Valorant or its devs. This new game mode was a leak and as of now, there is no official announcement being made. There is a chance that the new game mode might come with the August new content rollout. The game is going to enter its second act soon and the new update is coming on August 2. There is a possibility that with the new update Valorant will finally get the team deathmatch mode and maybe even a new map.
