View Data without MS Access

New Update

Snapshot Viewer is a tool that allows users to view snapshots of data as presented in Access reports, without a valid Microsoft Access license. This helps to send reports to those who do not have MS Access and the view they see is the same as any user accessing the report via Access.

Creating a snapshot is as easy as a simple export operation. Exporting a report executes the report and the result (including the presentation) is saved in the resulting snapshot. Thus, a snapshot contains data which was consistent at the time it was created and not at the time it is being viewed. The database might have undergone changes during the meantime, so this makes it a good choice for distributing summary reports from the past, and is not for use in real-time reports. This snapshot can then be e-mailed to other users or

embedded in a Web page and anyone with the Snapshot Viewer can view the results. You can download it for free from the

Microsoft website.
