This is an average board with a Socket 370 interface, and Intel 810E chipset.
The board supports a FSB of up to 133 MHz. It has three PCI and one AMR slot and
comes with a detailed manual with a lot of visual elements and installation
instructions. It has connectors for both ATX and AT power supplies. The
motherboard has a jumper-less, adding to the ease of installation.
On the flip side, the board doesn’t come with built-in ports so you have to
look for them and plug-in the necessary cables. The driver CD has to be searched
for the drivers, unlike some of the better ones, which automate the
installation. It has a USB connector but we didn’t get a USB cable to connect
to it.
In performance the motherboard did well in productivity applications, getting
the third highest score in its category. In graphics and video applications also
it faired fairly well. In AudioWinbench it gave an average CPU utilization score
of 7.1, which is average. In Quake III it gave an average fps of 18.15, which
was among the highest.
On the whole, the board is good in performance and pricing. It’s a good
choice provided you can live with lesser features. It comes with a warranty of
one year.
