Vivo, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has revealed the Vivo Y100 in India following numerous leaks and rumours.
The business recently unveiled the Y-series smartphone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC. The new device boasts a number of intriguing features, including a rear panel that can change colour.
Vivo Y100 specifications
The back panel of the Vivo Y100 can change color when exposed to ultraviolet light. It has a 6.38-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with HDR10+, a 90Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 1300nits.
On the back, it has a triple camera setup with two 2MP sensors and a 64MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). The smartphone comes with a 16-megapixel front camera.
The Vivo Y100 has 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset, and a Mali G68 graphics processor.
With the Extended RAM 3.0 feature, users can get an additional 8GB of RAM. FunTouchOS 13, based on Android 13, is already installed.
The smartphone has a 4,500mAh battery and a Type-C charging port that supports 44W FlashCharge fast charging.
Dual-SIM, 5G, WiFi, a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and other connectivity options are available on the smartphone.
Prices, colors, and availability for the Vivo Y100 in India
The Vivo Y100 is only available in one storage option, 8GB+128GGB and is priced at Rs 24,999. The company stated that Kotak Mahindra, SBI, HDFC, and ICICI cards offered cashback of up to Rs 1,500.
The smartphone is available for purchase on the official website of the company as well as Flipkart and Amazon's e-commerce platforms in Twilight Gold, Metal Black, and Pacific Blue.
