Warner Bros May Soon Announce Mortal Kombat 12 this Year

The anticipated release date for Mortal Kombat 12 is 2023. Warner Bros. allegedly revealed this year's fighting title during a recent earnings call. The social networking website Twitter has also posted a video of the gathering there.

Mortal Kombat 12 will debut in 2023, according to a report by IGN, which also cites Andrew Slabin, executive VP of global investor strategy at Warner Bros. Discovery.

According to the report, Slabin has stated, "There's a lot more to come, including Suicide Squad and the highly anticipated Mortal Kombat 12: The Kill the Justice League games are also scheduled for release this year and have high launch expectations. However, the company has yet to issue a formal announcement regarding the fighting game's release.

The upcoming title was also teased by Johnny Cage's voice actor Andrew Bowen. Bowen uploaded a video of him standing in the Warner Bros. studio in September 2022.

In addition, Ed Boon, the creative director of NetherRealm, stated that the team was "working on another game." The report adds that Boon did not, however, mention the game's name at the time.

Other fighting games that will be released in 2023 Capcom is also planning to release Street Fighter 6 in 2023. Three of the game's characters have already been showcased for the first time by the gaming studio. The launch roster of 18 characters will be completed by these three characters. The PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X are among the platforms on which Street Fighter 6 will be available on June 2.

In addition, the trailer for Bandai Namco Entertainment's upcoming Tekken 8 fighting game was recently made public. Mortal Kombat 12's release window is also anticipated for this game.
