Watch Live: PM Narendra Modi’s Independence day Speech to go Live on Google and YouTube

Following the ritual, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation on 72^nd Independence Day from Red Fort, New Delhi on 15 August 2018. To add to the digital drive in the country, now, you will be able to watch the I-Day PM Modi speech live on Google and YouTube.

You can simply tune in for PM Modi 15 August Speech by typing Independence Day on the search page of Google and Youtube. From there you will be able to watch the Narendra Modi Independence Day speech, which will begin around 8 am on 15 August 2018.

Prasar Bharti has taken this initiative to boost the viewership of the I-Day event in India and abroad. Earlier, Google has telecasted the inauguration ceremony of US President Donald Trump.

Changes in Coverage by Doordarshan

This year’s Independence Day coverage by Doordarshan will witness some noteworthy changes. The coverage would begin with a song by Shankar Mahadevan. The anchors of DD will introduce the I-Day event straight from Red Fort. Also, there would be 22 HD cameras at Red Fort and 4 cameras at Raj Ghat.

The PM Modi’s Independence Day Speech will be translated into regional languages in the evening. It would be transmitted by All India Radio.
