We might see AI tool like ChatGPT from Google in May 2023

A search chatbot and at least 20 other tools driven by artificial intelligence (AI) will be unveiled by tech giant Google at its annual developer conference in May of this year.

Google felt pressured to compete in the burgeoning technology market and produce software that is similar to OpenAI's ChatGPT in order to compete with it.

What is ChatGPT?

According to Engadget, the AI-powered chatbot known as ChatGPT has taken over the technology industry over the past few months because it can provide people with the information they require in a way that is easy to understand.

Because Google sees ChatGPT as a threat to its search business, CEO Sundar Pichai has declared a "code red" and increased AI development.

An image generation tool, an improved version of AI Test Kitchen, a YouTube green screen mode modeled after TikTok, and a tool that can create videos that summarize other clips are among the tech giant's AI projects, according to a slide deck.

Additionally, the company is likely working on a Shopping Try-on feature, a wallpaper creator for Pixel phones, and AI-driven tools that may assist Android application developers. Additionally, "copyright, privacy, and antitrust" were cited as the primary AI technology risks in the slide deck.

According to the report, "Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin reportedly brought in last month to meet with current leaders, review AI plans, and offer input."

However, there is no specific timetable for the launch of Google's AI search demo; however, other projects from the slide presentation that the Times viewed appear to be set to debut at the company's annual I/O event in May, which has previously introduced features such as Google Glass and Duplex.
