The first thing that struck us when we got hold of My Passport was its size. It is compact in size and huge in capacity. What is also striking is that it does not
require any external power supply, which means this passport-sized drive is also easy to carry around. It offers a phenomenal 2 TB of storage capacity, so
you can carry around your whole collection of digital content, which is a great convenience if you travel a lot. The drive comes with a USB 3.0 connector
which is used both for supplying power to the drive and data exchange. One can enjoy data speed up to 3 times more than USB 2.0, provided the connector
on your computer is also USB 3.0.

We did a simple copy of content to the My Passport drive and found that the USB 2.0 transfer speed was on an average 32 MB/s while on USB 3.0 it was around 100 MB/s. My Passport also comes with bundled software packages that help one to automatically back up their computer data to the drive, run diagnostic tests,
and encrypt data for protection.
