The Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode is still being offered to iOS users, according to WhatsApp's changelog for the App Store. During a WhatsApp video call, iOS users will be able to perform multiple tasks without having to pause the video.

To empower PiP mode, make a beeline for your iPhone's Settings application, then tap on Broad and Picture in Picture, and flip the 'Start PiP Consequently' switch to green. Your iPhone will be able to use WhatsApp's PiP mode once it is enabled. In the meantime, Android users already have access to the feature.

Moreover, WhatsApp is working on additional features that will be included in subsequent app updates. Split view on Android tablets, the Windows call link feature, the ability to schedule group calls, control group participants for iOS and Android, and more are among the forthcoming features.
