Wishtel IRA Thing is an Android 2.2 Froyo-based tablet with a 7-inch capacitive touch screen. It has an 800 MHz processor with 512 MB of RAM. Though we did not feel any lag while navigating through the options and applications but while playing certain games like Angry Birds there was a little bit lag. Its screen has a display size of 800x480 pixels which is just about okay for a tablet priced at Rs 5,500. The tablet is equipped with a USB 2.0 port, USB mini-port, micro SD card slot and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The USB 2.0 port can be used to connect external datacards and it also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. Weighing at 370 gms, the tablet is comfortable to hold. When you hold the tablet vertically, you will see two buttons at the bottom right corner. Of these two, one is the back button while the other is the power button. It does not have the volume button, so you might face problems while playing games or working in full-screen mode. It has a 2800 mAh battery and 4 GB of internal memory. To save battery life, this tablet has an hibernate option and to get this option you have to press the power button for a few seconds. Apart from the Android Market (Google Play) another app market is provided which must have applications compatible with this tablet. The tablet also has a front camera (no rear camera) but the quality is not impressive.

Bottomline: This tablet has average features but still is a decent buy for the price.
