Witcher 3

The Netflix adaptation of The Witcher met with quite polarising reviews, but everyone agrees on one thing: Henry Cavill was absolutely perfect. There could not have been a better portrayal of Geralt of Rivia. The series has garnered a lot of attention, and for the right reasons. This has also caused people to take an interest in the game, The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt.

As of now, The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt reached the second position on Steam’s chart of Global Top Selling games due to the hype around the Netflix show. The first one is Red Dead Redemption 2. According to current Steam charts, the game has also seen quite a resurgence in player count. It is currently on the 11th position of top games by concurrent player count. The resurgence of The Witcher 3, which was released in 2015, can be attributed to the Netflix series. But more than that, it can also be attributed to Henry Cavill, who has been talking a lot about the game in his interviews. For those who do not know, Cavill himself pushed for the role of Geralt when he heard that Netflix was creating the series because he had played the game and loved it. This has frequently been a topic of conversation in his interviews.

If you are interested as well, go grab it now on Steam since the winter sale is on. The Game of The Year edition is available just for Rs 299 and includes both the DLCs: Hearts of Stones and Blood and Wine. Both of the DLCs bring new story lines and are some of the best expansions to have come out ever. They add over 50 hours of gameplay to The Witcher 3, whose base game can easily cross 100 hours alone.
