Women Only Hackathon To Focus on Humanitarian Project

ABI, a non-profit organization focused on the advancement of women in computer science and engineering, will host a €˜Women Only€™ Hackathon on the 25th July 2014 at the Sathyabama University in Chennai. This is Chennai'€™s first all women Hackat hon. The Hackathon is presented in in collaboration with 10000 Startups Girls in Tech, Sathyabama University & Venturesity.

The Hackathon will provide women participants a platform to collaborate, code, network & contribute to humanitarian software – building app for good. Whether it is blood donation or city cleanup drive, participants will get an opportunity to unleash their ideas to make the world a better place using Tech for Good!. It is free and open to the first 100 women developers who sign-up @ http://bit.ly/ghchackathon2014

While registrations are open until 8pm on Wednesday, July 23rd, participants are encouraged to register at the earliest to get the right team members and also to receive necessary communication about the contest.
