A recent report from Mark Gurman of Bloomberg suggests that Apple will also announce M2-based Macs, including a 15-inch MacBook Air with an M2 chip, a new and improved 13-inch MacBook Pro with an M2 chip, and lastly, a new 13-inch MacBook Air. While some leaks suggested that Apple would introduce M3-powered Macs, the company may also announce M2-based Macs.

The Mac Pro with Apple silicon, the only Mac that has not been switched from the Intel to the Apple Silicon platform, is also anticipated to be announced by Apple at WWDC 2023. It is the company's most potent Mac to date.

According to earlier rumours, the upcoming 13-inch MacBook Air might have the M3 or a third-generation Apple silicon chip. However, with PC sales continuing to decline in Q1 2023, the business may have decided to hold off and might launch the first Mac with an M3 CPU by the end of 2023. This chip is supposed to be more capable and power-efficient.

The Apple business intends to announce:

  1. xrOS operating system and software development kit
  2. macOS 14
  3. watchOS 10 update
  4. new MacBooks
  5. iOS 17
  6. iPadOS 17
  7. Reality headset

In contrast to last year's software, which introduced a new lock screen, the revised iOS and iPadOS are unlikely to bring significant new features. However, they should make additional modest improvements to meet a list of customer requests. However, the upgraded Apple Watch operating system will feature more significant gains.

Most importantly, Apple's goals for mixed reality are only getting started with the headgear. An improved high-end model with increased computing power is already in the works. The company is also developing a downscale product to make the technology more affordable for regular people.

Conclusion

Apple is anticipated to announce several new Macs, including the brand-new 15-inch MacBook Air, the Mac Pro with Apple Silicon, and many others. Apple has officially stated that the opening of the forthcoming Worldwide Developer Conference will be on 5 June.
