Xiaomi has introduced its flagship-grade Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphone in India. The Xiaomi 13 series includes the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Lite smartphones, launched at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 in Barcelona.

Cost and availability

The Xiaomi 13 Pro is priced at Rs 79,999 for the 12GB+256GB storage option, with a Rs 10,000 immediate discount on orders made using ICICI bank cards, bringing the effective price down to Rs 69,999.

The Xiaomi 13 Pro phone will go on sale on 6 March on Mi.com, Mi Home, and Mi Studios, with the first 1,000 purchasers receiving a special Xiaomi 13 Pro merchandise package. The Xiaomi 13 Pro will be on sale in mass on 10 March through Mi Home, retail partners, Amazon, Mi.com, and Mi Studios.

Design

The Xiaomi 13 Pro has an ultra-slim design with a glass sandwich and a metal frame. It has a bezel-less display and a punch-hole design on the front. The Xiaomi 13 Pro phone will come in two colours: Ceramic Black and Ceramic White.

During the Mobile World Congress 2023, Xiaomi debuted wireless augmented reality glasses. It is the company's newest attempt to gain traction in the virtual/expanded reality space.

The concept gadget, dubbed Xiaomi Wireless AR Glass, is supposed to allow users to gesture using its internal camera to pick and open applications, swipe through pages, and quit apps to return to the main page, all without the need for a smartphone.
