Xiaomi 14 Unveils Design Preview Ahead of 26 October Debut: Features Sleek Bezels, Outdoing iPhone 15 Pro

According to a recent Weibo post, the Xiaomi 14 series will be available on 26 October. Xiaomi has not announced the devices in the range, likely to be a basic Xiaomi 14 and a Xiaomi 14 Pro. These could be the successors of the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. There have been various rumours about the following smartphones' features and cameras. The Chinese firm has already teased the look of the Xiaomi 14, while another post from a company executive suggests the forthcoming handset will have thinner bezels than the iPhone 15 Pro.

Xiaomi 14 smartphone: Design

Xiaomi previewed the design of the upcoming Xiaomi 14 in a Weibo post ahead of its 26 October launch and revealed some images of the  Xiaomi 14 smartphone.

• It will have a 6.36-inch ultra-narrow edge straight display panel.
• It is expected to launch in at least one colorway: white.
• Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 14 smartphone will be outfitted with a Paris nail texture design.
• The business has also released some images of the future smartphone's camera.

Xiaomi 14 Vs. iPhone 15 Pro

In another post, Xiaomi Phones Product Manager Cici Lao Wei revealed that the Xiaomi 14 will have "an extremely narrow four-width design." The chin will be 1.71mm thick, while the bezels on the other three sides will be 1.61mm thick, making them even thinner than the iPhone 15 Pro.

According to prior reports, Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC would power the Xiaomi 14 with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It will have a 4,600mAh battery with support for 90W cable charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.

As seen in the company's images, the Xiaomi 14 smartphone features a triple rear camera configuration housed in a square box at the top-right of the back panel. This arrangement is rumoured to include a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor, and a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor.
