Xiaomi launched Notebook Pro and Smart TV X series, today. The new Notebook Pro laptop comes with a 2.5K display with 120Hz refresh rate, 12th generation Intel Core processors, and more. Along with it, the company has launched the Xiaomi Smart TV X Series which is aimed at those who want a 4K cinematic viewing experience.
Xiaomi Notebook Pro Specifications
The laptop has a 120Hz display and it measures about 14-inch in size. The panel operates at 2.5K resolution and it has support for DC Dimming. The screen also has low blue light emission certification from TUV. The Xiaomi Notebook Pro has an Aerospace grade Series 6 Aluminium build.
It is powered by a 12th-generation Core i5 processor. The laptop has a dedicated GeForce MX550 GPU, which is an entry-level graphics card. It is backed by up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The device has a 3-level backlit keyboard. The fingerprint scanner is built into the power button for security purposes. On the front is a 720p camera.
The company has provided support for Wi-Fi 6, and the laptop has an audio jack as well. It features one USB Type C port, one Thunderbolt 4 port, one Type-A USB 3.1 port, and an HDMI 2.0 port. Xiaomi ships a 100W charger in the box, which the company claims can top up the battery by 50 per cent in about 35 minutes.
Xiaomi Smart TV X Series Specifications
The new Smart TV series from Xiaomi has a metal bezel-less design and is available in different sizes. The screen operates at 4K resolution and has support for Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG for more realistic colour and contrast. The television features an in-house image-processing algorithm, Vivid Picture Engine (VPE) for a better content viewing experience.
The TV has a 96.9 per cent screen-to-body ratio and features a metallic frame. The 30W speakers even have support for Dolby Audio for a superior sound experience. Xiaomi has also added support for DTS-HD and DTS: Virtual X tech.
The Xiaomi Smart TV X Series runs on PatchWall UI, which is based on Android TV 10 platform. Under the hood is a 64-bit quad-core A55 chipset, which is backed by 2GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. The Xiaomi Smart TV X Series supports dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. There are three HDMI ports (eARC x 1), two USB ports, and an AV and earphone port.
The prices for the new TV series start from Rs 28,999, whereas the laptop will cost you Rs 69,999. The purchase will be available from Mi.com, Flipkart and other retail stores.
