Recently, China’s Xiaomi has launched its one more entry-level Redmi smartphone – Redmi 7A that offers great value for money. But, while the sub-Rs 7k segment oversees new launches every now and then, the Redmi 7A has a strong competition with the Realme C2. Redmi 7A vs Realme C2: Price

The Redmi 7A 2GB RAM with 16GB storage variant is priced at Rs 5,999, and the 2GB/32GB storage variant is priced at Rs 6,199. But, as an introductory offer for the month of July only, the Redmi 7A is available for Rs 5,799 and Rs 5,999, respectively.

The Realme C2 in 2GB/32GB storage variant is priced at Rs 6,999, the 3GB/32GB storage variant costs Rs 7,999.

Redmi 7A vs Realme C2: Design and display

While the Redmi 7A features a standard 5.45-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio, Realme C2 sports a 6.1-inch HD+ waterdrop notch display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Overall the Realme C2 will offer an improved multimedia experience as compared to the Redmi 7A.

The Redmi 7A offers dual SIM, dual VoLTE capabilities. The smartphone also comes with reinforced corners and a splash-proof design that ensures protection against accidental falls and spills.

The Redmi 7A is fuelled by the octa-core 2.0GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor. On the other hand, the Realme C2 is fuelled by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC.

Both the smartphones are powered by 4,000mAh battery and run on Android 9 Pie with respective custom UI skins.

The Redmi 7A boasts a 12MP Sony IMX486 sensor making it the only phone in its segment to sport the sensor. On the front, it features a 5MP front camera with AI Portrait mode for great portrait selfies.

On the other hand, the Realme C2 comes with a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 13MP primary shooter with an f/2.2 lens and a 2MP secondary camera with an f/2.4 lens. At the front, there is a 5MP selfie camera.
