China’s Xiaomi recently extended its popular budget Redmi A series with the Redmi 8A that offers great value for money. The Redmi 8A goes head to head with the Realme C2 that was launched earlier. Redmi 8A vs Realme C2: Price
The Redmi 8A costs Rs 6,499 for the 2GB+32GB variant and Rs 6,999 for the 3GB+32GB variant. Available in midnight black, sunset red and ocean blue colour variants, interested consumers can purchase the device from Mi.com and Flipkart starting September 29, 11:59 pm onwards.
The Realme C2 in 2GB/32GB storage variant is priced at Rs 6,999, the 3GB/32GB storage variant costs Rs 7,999.
Redmi 8A vs Realme C2: Design and display
The Redmi 8A features a 6.22-inch Dot Notch HD+ display. The smartphone features an aspect ratio of 19:9 and comes in the Aura Wave Grip design that further extends the ergonomics of the phone to the outside of the body, with fine, textured patterns that make it extremely easy to grip the phone while at the same time reducing fingerprint residues to a minimum.
The Realme C2 sports a 6.1-inch HD+ waterdrop notch display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
