Redmi 8A vs Realme C2: Price

The Redmi 8A costs Rs 6,499 for the 2GB+32GB variant and Rs 6,999 for the 3GB+32GB variant. Available in midnight black, sunset red and ocean blue colour variants, interested consumers can purchase the device from Mi.com and Flipkart starting September 29, 11:59 pm onwards.

The Realme C2 in 2GB/32GB storage variant is priced at Rs 6,999, the 3GB/32GB storage variant costs Rs 7,999.

Redmi 8A vs Realme C2: Design and display

The Redmi 8A features a 6.22-inch Dot Notch HD+ display. The smartphone features an aspect ratio of 19:9 and comes in the Aura Wave Grip design that further extends the ergonomics of the phone to the outside of the body, with fine, textured patterns that make it extremely easy to grip the phone while at the same time reducing fingerprint residues to a minimum.

The Realme C2 sports a 6.1-inch HD+ waterdrop notch display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

The Redmi 8A is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 octa-core chipset and has 2+1 dual SIM slot with a dedicated micro-SD card support that can be further expanded to 512GB. The smartphone is fuelled by a 5,000mAh with 18W fast charging support.

The Realme C2 is fuelled by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC. The Realme C2 is fuelled by the 4,000mAh battery.

The Redmi 8A comes with 12MP Sony IMX363 sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 and a large pixel size of 1.4μm. At the front, the Redmi 8A sports an 8MP selfie camera.

On the other hand, the Realme C2 comes with a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 13MP primary shooter with an f/2.2 lens and a 2MP secondary camera with an f/2.4 lens. At the front, there is a 5MP selfie camera.
