Xolo, the sub brand of Lava International has launched its upgraded high powered smartphone Q1000S that sports a HD display and is based on Android version 4.2 Jelly Bean.

In terms of features, the phone is lot similar to Micromax Canvas 4 which was launched in the country couple of months back. The Q1000S sports a 5 inch 1280×720 pixels display and packs a 1.5 GHz quad-core Mediatek 6589T CPU along with 1 GB RAM.

Priced at Rs 18,999 the phone comes with 13 MP rear camera with BSI 2 sensor and a 5 MP front camera that is meant for video calling and quick selfies.

For data and app storage the phone has 16 GB internal memory expandable up to 32 GB it seems. The phone is loaded with a 2500 mAh battery. Aesthetic wise, the Q1000S is slim, light at 158 grams. Xolo Q1000S will compete with Micromax Canvas 4 and soon to be launched Lava Iris Pro smartphones.
