New Update

Well built, nice dual colored look with black in the front and good quality plastic with metal finish and matte finishing on the sides with white layering covering the tablet's corners and edges. The tablet's made in such a way that weight won't be an issue however; carrying it in hands for long time may not be the best idea. The tablet sports a 9.7 inch display with 2048x1440 pixels resolution and is capable of running 4K or ultra high definition (UHD) quality content and to illustrate that Zync has added some videos that are available on the device. The power button, back button is on the top hand right side close to the front 2 MP camera while connectivity ports; USB, microSD slot, audio jack are also on the right side with the apparent lack of volume rocker button.

The tablet packs a 1.5 GHz quad-core CPU with 2 GB RAM that is surely one of best packaged budget tablet available in the market. However, the tablet showed clear signs of lagging and some wayward behavior like icons going missing which took its time to get normal. Another big problem that we faced was around Wi-Fi connectivity. We lost Wi-Fi network whenever the tablet was locked. It felt like the network goes to sleep the moment you lock, which felt strange and irritating. The battery on Zync Quad 9.7 is an 8000 mAh which lasted for close to 3.5 hours on our video loop test. The tablet scored 10846 on Antutu, 2908 on Quadrant and 1002 on Vellamo HTML5.
