Motovolt Mobility Private Limited, an electric vehicle (EV) business, debuted its e-bike, URBN. Along with more than 100 offline retail touchpoints, the company's website offers to book the e-bike. It has a price of Rs 49,999. It includes a detachable BIS-approved battery and a 120 km range on a single charge.
All about the company
Tushar Choudhary established Motovolt in the year 2020. Choudhary is the former Promoter of the Himadri Group of Companies, which produces specialty chemicals in Kolkata. The start-up introduced e-cycles two years ago. It is accessible in four variants and present throughout India: HUM, KIVO Easy, KIVO Standard, and ICE.
According to Choudhary, the goal of the introduction of e-cycles and, now, e-bike URBN is to alter the way that India commutes.
Company's Vision
He continued by saying that after spending many years travelling to China. He discovered a significant market vacuum in the country's micro-mobility sector. That inspired him to introduce Motovolt'se-cycles and, more recently, e-bikes. He said that e-bikes are an improved version of e-cycles.
