Acer unveiled the Aspire Vero 16 (AV16-51P), the company's first "carbon-zero" laptop, during its sustainability conference on Wednesday in Dubai. New displays, all-in-one PCs, and smart home appliances like air and water purifiers were among the "green" goods the business showcased at the Acer Dubai Event 2023.

At CES in Las Vegas in January 2024, Acer will reveal the new Vero's features, specs, cost, and availability. The next-generation Intel Core Ultra processor, which will launch on December 14, will power the new Acer Vero 16, according to the company. This means that the Vero will likely have multiple generative AI experiences thanks to Intel AI boost technology and an integrated neural processing unit (NPU).

Acer Partnership with Intel and Microsoft The company is also partnering with Intel and Microsoft to deliver these creative AI experiences. The notebook is made from 60% recycled plastic that does not contain VOC compounds, dyes, or additives. The touchpad surface of the Aspire Vero 16 is made of plastic attached to the sea.

Like the previous generation of Vero laptops, the new iteration has 100 percent recyclable packaging that can also be recycled. Finally, Acer includes standard screws that make it easy to upgrade, repair and recycle the laptop. Acer is introducing new battery management software that now includes new energy efficiency modes like Eco and Echo Plus.

Acer's upcoming launches for Indian Market Acer also confirmed that some of these products will be adapted for the Indian market, including a new smart water purifier with features like UV and RO-based water filtration systems.
