Reliance Jio impacted hugely in the market and the ultimate beneficiary would be the consumer. When Jio entered in the market with unlimited data and calls offer, other service providers slashes their prices and come with new attractive offers.

Recently Airtel announces its unlimited plans, and then Vodafone and Idea also joins the race by offering unlimited plans to its customers.

Airtel launches unlimited local + STD calls with unlimited roaming calls plus 100 Local+STD SMS per day and 5 GB 4G/3G Internet only at Rs 1199. Though this plan offers only 5 GB data and here Airtel is behind Jio but if you want to be with Airtel and hunger for data is bigger, then other plans are also available with the higher package that goes up to 20 GB.

Vodafone India also launches two new postpaid packs under its `Red series’. It also offers unlimited voice calls with 6 GB of 3G/4G data available at Rs Rs 1699. The second plan bundles unlimited voices calls with 8 GB of 3G/4G data at Rs 1999. In compare with Jio and Airtel its far behind with both.

While Idea comes with unlimited voice calls local + STD + roaming at Rs 799 but no data and another plan is unlimited local + STD calls with unlimited roaming calls plus 3000 Local+STD SMS per month and 5 GB 3G data only at Rs 1199.

Although, these operators are providing unlimited voice calls yet data is lower than Jio. Yet the benefit is if you are existing customers of any one of them and happy with thier services, then may you can switch to new offers and save money. Thanks to the competition brought by Reliance Jio, and if I missed anything to add or you have some other info please share with us.
